Latest estimates puts the BP spill at 8 times the Exxon Valdez

The most recent estimates according to Reuters puts the spill at 8 times that of the Exxon Valdez spill of 1989. Mexico is also preparing for the oil to reach it's shores around December, and they are apparently coming up short on booms due to the United States acquisition of much of the supplies they will be needing soon.


Fittingly, BP's stock continues to tumble. Hopefully people are re-investing that money into green energy...one can always hope right.
