Rooftop Gardens

Rooftop Gardens are one of the greatest things I've found since moving to an Urban area in Toronto. The idea is to take unused typically ugly space and turn it into a beautiful useful piece of land. Rooftop Gardens can grow small amounts of vegetables and herbs, and help with air quality, noise polution, and neglect. I took these pictures on top of the office building I work at, and I am on a mission to find out more about these and to bring them to Austin when I move back in June.

Hey man, it'd be great if you could make a blog post about the resources you've found. Even if it's just a short list with a brief description next to each, people including myself would find it really helpful.
