Portable Solar Panel & Battery

I got my portable solar panel/battery today and am starting some initial tests. I plan to take it with me on my trip back to Texas (from Toronto) as well to see how well it does in the car. So far I've charged 2 phones and an iPod on it and it seems to work great. The casing and buttons are well built and overall the device is quite nice. I am going to try using up the entire battery and then seeing how long it takes to charge by solar. Please give me some ideas on other things I can try to use it for. And next week I want us all to brainstorm on how we can use solar power products to help the people of Afghanistan and/or the soldiers stationed there. I want to try to send some of our ideas over to them, and if I can get enough interest, I'd like to send some of these devices to the soldiers and have them write to us about how they used them.
